Our Dance Studio
Back in October of 2004 I decided to take a couple of swing dance lessons so I could try to dance at a wedding I was invited to attend. While we were at the studio, they made an announcement that they were looking for people to join a ballroom dance team to perform at a "showcase" event the studio was putting on. In a weak moment, I said "sure, what the heck!" Well, that was three studio performances ago! In fact, the picture top center above was taken during one of our showcase performances. Ballroom dancing is fun! It is physically and mentally challenging. And interestingly enough, I get the same endorphine buzz after dancing that I have after flying! The fact that I get to dance with my best friend makes it even better. We like it so much, we even converted our garage into a dance studio!
